Type specimen: USNM 61392, a tegmen. Its type locality is Binton, Warwickshire (Brodie coll), which is in a Hettangian marine shale/limestone in the United Kingdom.

Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling grazer-herbivore

Distribution: found only at Binton (Museum of Practical Geology collection)
