Sister taxa: Eotheroides aegyptiacum, Eotheroides babiae, Eotheroides lambondrano, Eotheroides sandersi, Eotheroides waghapadarensis

Type specimen: CGM 60551, a partial skeleton (skull and partial skeleton). Its type locality is WH-219, which is in a Priabonian marine shale in the Briket Qarun Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: aquatic herbivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of Egypt (8 collections)

Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
