Type specimen: IITR-SB 2775, a mandible. Its type locality is L.U. 2003, Harudi, which is in a Lutetian shallow subtidal mudstone in the Harudi Formation of India.

Ecology: aquatic herbivore

Distribution: found only at L.U. 2003, Harudi
