Sister taxa: Eotheroides aegyptiacum, Eotheroides babiae, Eotheroides clavigerum, Eotheroides lambondrano, Eotheroides waghapadarensis

Type specimen: CGM 42181, a partial skeleton (skull and partial skeleton). Its type locality is WH-230, which is in a Priabonian marine shale in the Birket Qarun Formation of Egypt.

Ecology: aquatic herbivore

Distribution:

• Eocene of Egypt (7 collections)

Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
