Type specimen: MPEF-Pb 8910, a sterile axis (Leafy twig). Its type locality is LefE , which is in a Maastrichtian/Paleocene deltaic mudstone/sandstone in the Lefipán Formation of Argentina.
Distribution: found only at LefE
