  • Daphoenodon superbus: CM 1589, a skeleton (practically complete skeleton). Its type locality is Beardog Hill, which is in a Harrisonian fluvial sandstone in the Marsland Formation of Nebraska.
  • Daphoenodon periculosus: HC 222, a mandible.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
