Type specimen: YPM-PU 11554, a mandible (Complete left mandible with c (worn), p2-m3, p1 root, and alveoli for i1-3). Its type locality is Van Tassell Creek, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in the Harrison Formation of Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Van Tassell Creek
