Meekia (Mygallia) mygale
Taxonomy
Meekia (Mygallia) mygale was named by Saul and Popenoe (1962). Its type specimen is UCLA 36077, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCLA Loc. 3625, Chico Creek, which is in a Santonian coastal siliciclastic in the Chico Formation of California. It is the type species of Meekia (Mygallia).
