Taxonomy
Cymosmilia alchaschendaensis was named by Bendukidze (1982). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Alkhashenda, Ribisa, Valkhokh, which is in an Oxfordian/Kimmeridgian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Georgia.
