Taxonomy
Pascoella peruviana was named by Cox (1949). It is not extant. Its type locality is Huayre, Junin, which is in a Norian shallow subtidal limestone in Peru.
It was recombined as Septocardia peruviana by McRoberts and Blodgett (2000), Damborenea (2012).
