Cretorhyssalus brevis
Taxonomy
Cretorhyssalus brevis was named by Belokobylskij (2012). Its type specimen is PIN 3901/81, an exoskeleton (complete male(?) wasp), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Obeshchayushchiy (PIN collection 3901), which is in a Campanian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Ola Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Cretorhyssalus.
