Anatifopsis was named by Barrande (1872) [Sepkoski's age data: O Aren O Ashg-l]. It is not extant. Its type is Anatifopsis bohemica.
It was assigned to Arthropoda by Sepkoski (2002); and to Kirkocystidae by Kolata et al. (1991), Lee et al. (2006), Sumrall et al. (2012).
