Oligotypus makowskii
Taxonomy
Oligotypus makowskii was named by Carpenter and Richardson (1971). Its type specimen is Makowski IWJM-1-C, a wing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Pit 11, Braidwood, Mazon Creek (Makowski coll), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois.
