Palaeocharmon basalis
Taxonomy
Palaeocharmon basalis was named by Belokobylskij et al. (2010). Its type specimen is MNHN A32944, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Oise amber, Le Quesnoy, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial amber in the Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of France. It is the type species of Palaeocharmon.
