Taubatherium paulacoutoi
Taxonomy
Taubatherium paulacoutoi was named by Soria and Alvarenga (1989). Its type specimen is DGM 1087-M, a maxilla (right maxilla fragment with P2-4 and the alveoli of P1 and C), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fazenda Santa Fe, which is in a Deseadan lacustrine shale/claystone in Brazil.
