Martinmiguelia fernandezi
Taxonomy
Martinmiguelia fernandezi was named by Bond and López (1995). Its type specimen is MLP 72-IV-5-2, a partial skull (fragment of left maxilla with com- plete I1-I3 and P2-M2, and right M2-M3; fragment of right mandible with m3 poorly preserved.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Confluence of the Laguna and Casa Grande Rivers, Casa Grande Formation, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial horizon in the Casa Grande Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Martinmiguelia.
