Eokochaspis nodosa
Taxonomy
Eokochaspis nodosa was named by Sundberg and McCollum (2000). Its type specimen is USNM 497818, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Litho #1, Split Mountain East Section, which is in a Delamaran offshore shale/mudstone in the Emigrant Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Eokochaspis.
