Mitragyna tertiara
Taxonomy
Mitragyna tertiara was named by Konomatsu and Awasthi (1999). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow, BSIP 37691. Its type locality is Tinau Khola, Locality 3, which is in a Miocene fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Arung Khola Formation of Nepal.
