Taxonomy
Microaradus anticus was named by Heiss and Poinar (2012). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Heiss Tiroler Landesmuseum coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
It was recombined as Cretopiesma anticum by Azar et al. (2020), Cumming and Mlynarek (2024).
