Taxonomy
Electrotrichia rasnitsyni was named by Melnitsky et al. (2021). Its type specimen is SIZK OL-20, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno Amber, Olevsk locality (SIZK OL collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
