It was assigned to Chilophiurina by Spencer and Wright (1966), Calzada and Gutiérrez (1988), Chen et al. (2004); to Chilophiurina by Smith et al. (1995), Jagt (2000), Storc and Zitt (2008); to Ophiurida by Blake (1975), Radwanski (2002), Thuy and Kroh (2011); and to Ophiurina by O'Hara et al. (2017), O'Hara et al. (2018).
