Paracymus excitatus
Taxonomy
Laccobius excitatus was named by von Heyden and von Heyden (1866). Its type specimen is NHM P(IV) 58741, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Rott (Krantz Bonn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Paracymus excitatus by Statz (1939) and Fikáček et al. (2010).
