Pagodia was named by Walcott (1905) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Dres-u Cm Trep Sepkoski's reference number: 16,464]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Pagodiidae by Jell and Adrain (2002); to Corynexochida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Kaolishaniidae by Wernette et al. (2020).
