Taxonomy
Conocoryphe (Ptychoparia) gallatinensis was named by Meek (1873). Its type specimen is USNM 7862 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was synonymized subjectively with Ptychoparia oweni by Walcott (1884); it was recombined as Ehmania gallatinensis by Resser (1935).
