Moeritherium chehbeurameuri
Taxonomy
Moeritherium chehbeurameuri was named by Delmer et al. (2006) [UON = Earth Sciences Institute, Oran University, Oran, Algeria]. Its type specimen is UON 84-377, a tooth (left upper M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bir El Ater, which is in a Bartonian/Priabonian deltaic sandstone in Algeria.
