Taxonomy
Brevisensoria incrustata was named by Poinar (2011) [Poinar collection at Oregon State University]. Its type specimen is HE-4-76, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Brevisensoria.
