Type specimens:

  • Trionyx aequa: USNM 6065, a partial shell
  • Amyda crassa: AMNH 3887, a partial shell (fragmentary carapace). Its type locality is White River (Uinta C), which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah.

Distribution:

• Eocene of United States (3: Wyoming collections)
